Hi Everyone!!!

I can’t hardly believe it is almost here!! I am so excited, but at the same time very sad because I will miss ALL OF YOU more than you will ever know.

33 YEARS!!! WHAT A RIDE!!

When I started with AA in Jan 1975 I never looked ahead to this day. I was working as a provisional (part-time for some of you youngsters) making $2.15hr. I started in the computer center in TUL as a keypunch operator then moved to accounting dept for about a year. When AA opened the union jobs for employees to transfer into I jumped on it because it meant a $3.00hr raise. That was in Oct. 1977 when I became a stock clerk. I have been in Supply ever since—laid off 3 times, losing 1yr 4mos company time. I have worked in TUL, DFW, SFO, DFW, TUL then came here to AFW when the base opened.

My most joyous times have been meeting my fellow co-workers and getting to know each and every one of you. I have had a good 33 years at AA and I feel the time is right to go and be with my mother in the few years that she has left. I will be going to California, not too far away, so you all can come and visit me.
